Hiking a cykling

In area of Liptov are a lot of possibilities for tourist. Bešeňová lies on border of Low Tatras, Veľká Fatra and Chočské Vrchy.

Nature reserve Tiesňavy Hučianky – It is a wonderful narrow close to way on Salatin. It rises up to Smrekovica and then to Skalná Alpa. Very close is also Čierny Kameň, the nest of endangered feathery birds, then Borišov and just reward on mountain cottage under this hill. You can also hike on Veľký Choč, which will fascinate you by reach of flora. For free time, there are wonderfull trips to Starhrad, Likava Castle, Havránok – archeological museum in wild nature (it exist from time of Kelt inhabitants). You can also visit Prosiek valley and Kvačany valley with working water mill (part Úplazy) – appropriate for families with children.

Just choose on and if you walk whichever way, there will be always what to see.

Liptovská Mara

Liptovská Mara is the man-made lake near to Liptovský Mikuláš. The banks of lake are matched for water sports. Near to the hotel Jamajka is fully suited to diving (a lot of rests from the flooded villages is possible to view here). In autocamping Liptovský Trnovec are very good possibilities for swimming, surfing, yachting, boating, water cycling, minigolf and fishing. For tourists is prepeared an attraction - a trip on the shipboard around Liptovská Mara.
